Welcome to the Senior Wish Makers website located at www.seniorwishmakers.org.The Site is operated by Senior Wish Makers, an Oregon nonprofit corporation recognized as tax-exempt under IRS Section 501(c)(3) (“Senior Wish Makers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this Site, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

 

  1. Our Mission and Services

Senior Wish Makers exists to grant wishes to low-income seniors and veterans who meet our eligibility criteria. Information on the Site is provided for general awareness, applications, nominations, volunteering, and donations. We may update or discontinue any part of the Site or services at any time.

  1. Eligibility for Wish Consideration

Submitting an application or nomination does not guarantee a wish will be granted. Wishes are fulfilled based on eligibility, available resources, safety considerations, and alignment with our mission. We reserve the right to deny any application or nomination at our sole discretion for any reason consistent with our mission.

  1. Applications, Nominations, and User Submissions

When you submit information via our forms (including wish nominations, applications, volunteer inquiries, or contact forms), you agree that:

  • The information you provide is accurate, current, and complete to the best of your knowledge.
  • You have legal authority to share any information about another person (for example, a nominated senior).
  • You will not submit content that is unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or violates any person’s privacy.

We may contact you for verification or additional details. We may reject, remove, or decline to process submissions that violate these Terms.

  1. Donations

Donations made through the Site are voluntary gifts to support our mission.

  • No goods or services are provided in exchange for your donation unless explicitly stated.
  • Donations are generally non-refundable, except in cases of technical error or as required by law.
  • If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us at karen@seniorwishmakers.org within 14 days and we will review your request.

We use third-party payment processors. Your payment is subject to their terms and privacy practices.

  1. Tax Deductibility

Senior Wish Makers is a 501(c)(3). Donations may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We do not provide tax advice. Please consult your tax professional.

  1. Privacy

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal information. By using the Site, you consent to our data practices described there.

  1. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, photos, videos, designs, and trademarks — is owned by Senior Wish Makers or used with permission and is protected by intellectual property laws.
